I should be sleeping right now, but i'm waiting for the repair man to finish installing my 2nd air conditioner for the bedroom. It was impossible to sleep yesterday in the 105 degree heat with only one AC... and with today's forcast of a record-breaking 109, I had to do something. Mimi is on her way over too. She turned in the keys to her apartment and is going to stay with me for her last week in Vegas.
This past weekend we stayed in Vegas, but one thing we did that was pretty cool is we went to the pool at the Palms. The pools in Vegas in the summer are pretty amazing. Lots of hot bodies and nice cool water. The cool part was seeing celebrities Seth Green and Snoop Dogg hanging out at the pool!
Last weekend was also filled with Celebrity sightings. Mimi and I went to a filming of "America's Got Talent". We were amazed to be seated directly in the middle of the front row, the only people in front of us being judges Sharon Osborne, David Hasselhoff, and some guy named Piers... And the host of the show was Jerry Springer. The acts were fun to watch, but the whole event took way too long. We had to do lots of scripted fake emotions and applauses that they will edit into the show. But we will definitely get some air time being in the front row. The show premiers on June 17th, and I'm not sure when our episode will play, so you'll just have to watch them all.
That gets me up to date. I'm going to start a new a new posting to get move backwards.
